Strip Waxing hair removal is a semi-permanent hair removal. Although the hair is removed from the root, it will go back after 4 -6 weeks, dependant on your growth cycle. A thin layer of wax is applied to the skin, a cloth strip is pressed to it which will then be then pulled off, and the hair will come out cleanly. This removes the wax along with the hair.
Intimate Hot Waxing
Hot wax is denser than the thinly applied strip wax. Hot wax is applied directly onto the skin, allowed to set and removed quickly by your therapist, no cloth strip is used for removal. As this hot wax melts at a higher temperature than strip wax, it is ideal for intimate areas where the hair is stronger and thicker as the warmth from the hot wax fully opens the skin pores.
Electrolysis is a permanent method of removing unwanted hair. It is ideal for smaller areas, i.e. the upper lip or chin area. Each hair is removed individually, a tiny probe is inserted into the hair follicle to destroy hair growth. Usually about 6 treatments will be needed for permanent removal, dependent on hair type and strength.
